- first download the new >> Uxtheme Patch for XPSP3 <<
- Start in Safe Mode
- Enable viewing of hidden files and system (see below how)
- If it is not already, enable the display of the most popular extensions for files (see below how)
- Delete if this directory c: \\ windows \\ system32 \\ dllcache the uxtheme.dll file
- folder c: \\ windows \\ system32 rename the file uxtheme.dll in uxtheme.tmp
- Copy the file you downloaded in the folder c: \\ windows \\ system32 Reboot
- Unpack all theme folder c: \\ windows \\ resource \\ themes

- Go to desktop and click on an empty spot with the right mouse button and choose the Properties item
- Choose the Appearance tab
